More than any other framework, Klinghardt's protocol resists being reduced to a list. It is sequenced: each layer prepares the body for the next, and skipping a layer is the most common reason patients stall or worsen. What follows is a clinical summary, organised by layer, with product references commonly used in his clinics.

1 · Drainage & terrain
Open the exits before killing anything. 3–4 weeks minimum.
- Lymphatic drainage spray (PEKANA).
- Kidney/lymph drainage drops.
- Heavy-metal & biotoxin binder; foundational across the entire protocol.
- Mobilises intracellular metals so chlorella can carry them out.
2 · KPU correction
Kryptopyrroluria depletes zinc, B6 and biotin; almost all chronic Lyme patients test positive.
- Zn / Mg / Mn replenishment, dosed to KPU urine results.
- Pyridoxal-5-phosphate — the bioactive form of B6, depleted in KPU.
- High-dose biotin used to correct the KPU-driven biotin deficit.
3 · Antimicrobials
Rotated, pulsed, and matched to coinfection panel.
- Houttuynia / Noni / Banderol blend used as the Borrelia backbone.
- Babesia killer, pulsed 4 days on / 3 days off.
- Bartonella and biofilm support.
- Aluminium binder with anti-biofilm action.
4 · Retroviruses & immune resets
Klinghardt's later work emphasised reactivated HHV-6, EBV and HERVs.
- Compounded, 1.5–4.5 mg nightly. Requires a prescription.
- Practitioner-administered antigen dilutions to retrain immune tolerance.
- Antiviral and anti-biofilm; supports the viral layer of the protocol.
5 · Environment
Mould remediation, EMF shielding and clean water are treated as treatment, not lifestyle.
- EMF mitigation for bedroom and workspace.
- Daily biotoxin clearance through sweat.
- HEPA air + structured / filtered water.
Tools, not dogma
Klinghardt himself revises this protocol every few years as new research arrives — most recently around glyphosate detoxification and peptide therapies (BPC-157, thymosin alpha-1). Treat the layers as stable; treat any single product as replaceable.
